Baseball is America's pastime. It is a sport rich with tradition and history. Baseball is a slow-paced game that requires patience, hustle, teamwork, and strategy. The object of the game is to circle the bases which leads to runs being scored. Teams field nine people on defense and nine batters on offense, which bat in a predetermined order that cycles over at end.

Baseball has a few critisims due to the nature of the game. One is that there is too much downtime such as between pitches, batters changing, and other gameplay related things. Another critism is that there is just not enough action throughout the game. Both of these critisms are highly subjective and really come down to personal preference. If you enjoy a smooth pace, periodic spikes in action, and unlimited comeback opportunities during the game, baseball is the sport for you.
